Jasper Hotel: Luxury Boutique Hotel in Fargo, ND

Looking for a boutique hotel in Fargo, North Dakota? Check out the Jasper Hotel.

Jasper Hotel Fargo, ND

We recently had an opportunity to see Jeff Dunham live in Fargo. Just 3.5 hours away from Minneapolis, Fargo we could have gone there and back in a day but instead, we decided to make it a whole weekend.

It had been many years since I’ve been downtown Fargo so I decided to find a hotel so we could be within walking distance of bars and restaurants. After a quick Google search, I found the Jasper Hotel.

There were two other options but I felt drawn to the Jasper Hotel so I booked it for two nights.

I could not be happier with the choice. If you want a great place for a girl’s weekend, a more laid-back option for a bachelorette party than Vegas, or just need a weekend away, consider Fargo, ND, and book a room at the Jasper Hotel.

Where is the Jasper Hotel Located?

The Jasper Hotel is located in downtown Fargo, ND on Broadway. Just a few steps away from the iconic Fargo Theater. Surrounded by a ton of bars, restaurants, and boutique shopping, there is so much to do in the area, that you would not even need a car.

What are the rooms like?

There are eight different room options. I opted for the King Guest Room. The beds were comfortable and had soft bedding with four king-sized pillows. You all know how much I love it when hotels have lots of pillows.

The room had a work desk and a minibar with snacks, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. They even offered a co-branded Faribault Woolen Mills, Jasper Hotel wool blanket.

Each room also has a Nespresso coffee machine and three different types of coffee pods, decaf, espresso, and a medium roast.

The bathrooms were modern design with a rain shower head, HUGE fluffy bath towels, luxury shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. For an added touch they also have makeup remover wipes and Q-tips. The icing on the cake, is a hairdryer!!

Ok so maybe the icing on the cake is the luxury bathrobes. So soft!!

Is there a restaurant and bar at the Jasper Hotel?

Yes, the Rosewild is the restaurant and bar inside the Jasper Hotel. They offer breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, and dinner. On Saturdays from 10-1, they have a Jazz Brunch with live jazz music to serenade you as you enjoy your food.

The music was a nice addition to the modern cozy feeling of Rosewild. There were even other patrons dancing around the tables.

The bar is open until midnight which was awesome since we got in late and wanted to just relax after the drive. The cocktails were fire!!

How can you book a room at the Jasper Hotel?

There are a few options when booking your room at the Jasper Hotel. I personally use www.expedia.com for most of my travel plans. Including booking this stay. You can always go directly to the hotel website as well but Expedia allows you to check multiple hotel prices at one time.

Does the Jasper Hotel Allow Dogs?

Yes, the Jasper Hotel allows dogs! As usual for most hotels, there is an extra fee and a limit of two dogs. You also must make sure your dogs are well behaved and you are responsible for any damages.

Who should book a room at the Jasper Hotel?

While there was nothing about the hotel that said adults only, it seemed to be designed for older kids or adults. There is no pool which is usually the must-have for most kids. The amenities and rooms are designed around adults.

The jazz brunch on Saturdays and the proximity to boutique shopping would make the Jasper Hotel a perfect place for a relaxing girls’ weekend. The intimacy and elegance give a romantic vibe for a couple’s getaway. And the classy atmosphere is a great location for a business stay.

Why you need to stay here

I know the Midwest is not a top destination for many but it really is an underrated destination. Even I, who live in the Midwest, forget how fun downtown Fargo is for a destination. I suggested to my friends we needed to plan a girl’s weekend sometime.

I will highly recommend we stay at the Jasper Hotel. The options for restaurants, coffee shops, bars, bakeries (1:00 am cookies anyone?), and shopping within only a few blocks of the Jasper make this hotel an ideal location.
